Pregnancy is a chance a woman gets in her life to discover her body and learn how to protect it. She can combine the best care for her baby (which starts during this magical period and continues after birth) with skin on skin, breastfeeding and all the love she can bring to her little treasure. My aim is to make this journey as smooth as possible for her and her baby.
Pregnancy, childbirth, and post-partum recovery is a unique and transformative time in a woman’s life. Your body undergoes major changes, and ideally, everything should work in harmony to support this transition. However, weight gain, hormonal changes, previous injuries, trauma, or complicated births can all contribute to pain, stiffness, and dysfunction in muscles, ligaments, fascia, and the pelvic floor.
My role is to educate, guide, and support women through this journey so they can experience it fully, prevent as much damage as possible, and enhance recovery. I also treat any dysfunctions that may lead to discomfort during pregnancy and after birth.
Pregnancy Care includes:
Back, neck, mid-back, and pelvic girdle pain management
Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation)
Digestive issues such as reflux or constipation
Pregnancy massages, induction support, and gentle techniques for breech babies
Pelvic floor and abdominal assessments
Individualised exercise programs and antenatal education classes
Postpartum Care focuses on:
Pelvic floor rehabilitation, including scar management after tears or surgery
Diastasis Recti rehabilitation
Incontinence support
Back, pelvic girdle, and coccyx (tailbone) pain management
Breastfeeding Support
I work alongside lactation consultants to support mothers with mastitis or blocked milk ducts, using physiotherapy techniques such as ultrasound, lymphatic drainage, taping, and education to reduce discomfort and promote breastfeeding success.
My aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering space where women can restore strength, improve pelvic health, and regain confidence in their bodies while navigating pregnancy and the post-partum period.
